CHANGE.

Could it be a sign of things to come??

New Mexico has always been considered a 'swing state', voting George Bush II in 2004 and Barack Obama in 2008.

In 2008 we went all Blue State by voting in two Democratic Senators and 3 Democratic congressmen.

Yesterday: however, Republicans took control of the city of Albuquerque with the election of Richard Berry for mayor and five seats out of nine on the city council now held by Repubs.

What is interesting is that Berry, who did not actively campaign in large hispanic parts of the city, defeated his two opponents, who are hispanic, in these areas -- and they were both democrats.

If the current administration does not start delivering something soon, people could be making their voices of change heard again in as soon as two years.

I'm out.
