WE'VE BEEN DISS'D !!!!

In a recent interview with the Detroit Free Press, Tommy Lee Jones whose film NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN was filmed here in Albuquerque had this to say about our fair city:

"Albuquerque is a really hard place to work. It's very noisy. There are crows everywhere, planes, trucks, people working on their cars. It's just a noisy place to shoot. That's about all we dealt with is trying to do the best we could and work around all the noise of Albuquerque..."

Well exscuuuuuuuuuuse me Mr. Jones. I guess Detroit, Chicago, New York and Los Angeles have one up on us when it comes to being 'quiet while you work".

THIS HICK TOWN....NOISY??!!!! Bull!

And to add inult to injury, Jessica Alba[trosse!!!] had this to say in a recent interview with MOVIESONLINE.CA in regards to her filming here for her new film THE EYE:

"We went to the director’s house quite a bit. In Albuquerque there’s really only one restaurant that’s pretty good. You can only take Applebee’s and Chili’s so much. Our big day was hanging out at Walmart for five hours. It was like, ‘Yea Walmart!’

What city was that bee-otch in??? Obviously she is not aware of such delectable eateries as Artichoke Cafe, Paul's Monterrey Inn, Yanni's, Church St Cafe, El Pinto [where El Jefe Bush eats when he's in town] or Scalo!! And what the hell is wrong with Applebee's?? I love the fire shrimp there!!! Baybee, I'll take you to the all you can eat steak and king crab legs buffet at Route 66 Casino next time you are in town filming EYE 2!!

Had she taken time off from looking at herself in the mirror she might have taken in a basket ball game at The Pit, recognized by USA TODAY as one of the top 10 NCAA Arenas in the country!!:

Home to the New Mexico Lobos, University Arena affectionately known as The Pit was opened in 1966. The nickname is a reference to the facility's unique subterranean construction the floor sits 37 feet below ground level. The steeply tiered arena seats more than 18,000. "It's a truly unique place with a highly charged atmosphere," Feinstein says. "When the players walk on to the court in The Pit, it's like watching Roman gladiators emerging into a wall of sound." 505-925-5858; golobos.cstv.com

Granted, one of my biggest complaints is that there is not a whole lot to do in this town especially in the middle of winter when its 9 degrees out side and the steets are iced over. Still that is no reason to be rude. She should have hooked up with someone that knew the city.

I just thank god she lives in LA and not here.

I'm out.

ummm....that was a 'diss' towards her mate. Jessica, Jennifer, Josephine...never liked her based on previous interviews anyway. Just glad her fame will be voer in about nine minutes.

I was born and raised in Albuquerque, left to the Army when graduated because ms. Alba is right Albuquerque, has nothing to do it is a dirty, rude, and ridiculous city full of several reasons selective breeding programs should be legal for humans, every one is mad cause the truth hurts
