FAREWELL ASCENSION.

The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta takes place the second weekend of October and runs until the following weekend. This is the Big Event in hot air ballooning and if you ever have the opportunity to attend, you should.



These are the images from the final Farewell Mass Ascension. Wave after wave of balloons inflate around you and take off.

And so ends season one of LAND OF THE ZIA.

October marks my one year anniversary of this blog. Look for some changes ahead next season. Thanks to all who took time to read and correspond, old and new friends alike.
